Sheet Metal Design Consulting Division
The sheet metal manufacturing activities of the Group were part of the original activities of the business, which were established by the founding member, James Henry, in Melbourne, Australia, during the late 1800’s. The original manufacturing activities of the business were simply cutting and forming flat sheet to produce flashings and rainwater goods for the plumbing industry. Over a century on from our early beginnings, the Group has closed it’s 1,800M2 Manufacturing Facility at 9(A) Production Avenue, Ernest, on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
The facility was a computer aided design facility that specialised in the manufacture of Air Handling System componentry. Palm Sheet Metal Works to-day is a sheet metal design consulting office, which specialises in the design of sheet metal components for Air Handling Systems.
Air Handling System Components Suppliers
Palm Sheet Metal Works can also manufacture, or supply components to suit the requirements of Air Handling Systems. Palm Sheet Metal Works has had over forty years of experience designing and manufacturing components for Air Handling Systems. The Palm Sheet Metal Works Manufacturing Facility was closed during 2001. Palm Sheet Metal Works now uses specialist sub contract manufacturers and suppliers to produce its Air Handling System components.
Palm Sheet Metal Works supplies the following Air Handling System components.
- Round pipe work systems that incorporate slip and butt joints and incorporate screwlock and snaplock joining clamps.
- Flexible air ducting up to ?,???mm in diameter including joining clamps.
- Round pipe work system brackets and supports.
- Specialist design dust and fume collection hoods for connection to dust and fume producing equipment.
- Articulated arms for collection of welding fume and similar air borne contaminants.
- Vapour collection enclosures such as Spray Painting enclosures and Kitchen Hoods.
- Various airflow control valves.
- Specialist anti-vibration “fan support-fan removal” frames.
- Specialist flexible fan connections for flameproof classification applications.
- Weather protection cowls.
- Turn buckled exhaust stack guy wire sets.
